Daiichi Sankyo drops Japan levofloxacin patent case

Daiichi Sankyo has decided not to pursue any further a case involving the extension of Japanese patents for its antibacterial Cravit (levofloxacin hydrate).

The company brought an appeal to the Intellectual Property High Court in Japan last December, seeking to overturn an earlier decision...
