Takeda Pharmaceuticals Europe has launched its anti-cancer Mepact (mifamurtide) in the EU for the treatment of adjuvant osteosarcoma (bone cancer).
The drug is presently available via a paid named-patient programme as it has not yet been endorsed for reimbursement by health assessment bodies...
